INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners is currently contracting with the City of Lansing for the Provision of 911 and Emergency Telephone Dispatch Service; and

WHEREAS, the 1999/00 contract expired on June 30, 2000; and

WHEREAS, the City of Lansing is requesting a supplemental appropriation to recoup the actual fiscal year 1999/00 amended budget final eligible expenditures; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners has had a policy in effect to reimburse 911 Centers at a rate of 95% of eligible operating expenses.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes a supplemental appropriation and amendment to the City of Lansing for the 911 Emergency Telephone Dispatch Service Contract for the time period July 1, 1999 through June 30, 2000 for an additional $284,490.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the County Clerk are authorized to sign any necessary contract documents consistent with this resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.
